If the rumors are true and the Viper is going out....I believe this is how you do it with a bang.
SRT announced at SEMA today that the Viper has claimed 13 production car track records, including Leguna Seca with a 1:28.65 by Randy Pobst. This passes the Porsche 918 Spyder’s 1:29.89.
Also, that’s a 1:26.54 at Road Atlanta. Earlier in the year, Tommy Milner drove a 2015 Z06 to a 1:29.81 at Road Atlanta.
Thanks to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for the instagram shot of all of the track records!

It always warms my heart when a car a quarter of the price of a 918, goes faster round a track than a 918.

Fucking hell, that means the new ACR is 5 seconds faster around Laguna Seca than the old one was. This thing must be an absolute monster.
